Job Title: Specialized Peacekeeper and Security Officer (ISPS)
Location: Abitibi
Schedule: Quarter-day, evening, night, and weekend shifts (according to needs)

The Services SFT Agency is seeking specialized peacekeepers and security officers (ISPS) to serve the Abitibi region.

As an ISPS, you will play a key role in preventing, managing crisis situations, and ensuring the safety of individuals in institutional, community, or healthcare settings.

Your main mission will be:

• Ensure the physical and psychological safety of users, staff, and visitors.
• Intervene professionally and safely in crisis situations or aggressive behaviors.
• Apply de-escalation, pacification, and physical intervention techniques as needed, according to established protocols.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and multidisciplinary teams.
• Write detailed intervention reports.
• Participate in follow-up or clinical support meetings, as needed.

Requirements:

• ISPS training completed (or equivalent recognized).
• Experience in intervening in crisis or behavioral disorganization contexts.
• Good physical condition and ability to intervene quickly in emergency situations.
• Knowledge of pacification approaches and good mental health practices (an asset).
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
• Availability to work on different shifts, including weekends.
• Experience in the healthcare and social services network (CIUSSS, youth centers, etc.).
• Training in first aid or non-violent intervention.
• Mobility within the Abitibi territory.
