Internship Project & Communication (60%)

The Association Suisse-ONU is seeking a project and communication intern to work 60% of their time for a duration of 6 months. The Association Suisse-ONU engages in strengthening relations between Switzerland and the United Nations (UN). It achieves this by disseminating knowledge about the UN and its importance to the Swiss population, and by stimulating debate on the role of Switzerland within the UN and Geneva international. As an intern, you will support the organization in various ways: Project management & events - Supporting the planning, execution, and reporting of the SwissMUN 2025 project - Supporting event organization - Executing small projects independently Communication - Creating and executing social media campaigns - Communicating with events of the ASNU, particularly SwissMUN 2025 (designing invitations, flyers, Instagram stories, photos, etc.) - Supporting website maintenance in collaboration with the communications manager - Supporting CRM management (Mailchimp) For this position, you bring: - Ideally first experience in communication, especially on social media - Ideally first experience in project implementation - Active participation in a MUN is desirable - Strong interest in themes related to multilateralism and the UN - Creativity and experience in designing communication materials (Instagram stories, event flyers, invitations, photos, etc.) - Good knowledge of common communication tools or willingness to learn with team support (Mailchimp, Canva, Google Workspace, Google Analytics) and deep understanding of social media (Instagram, LinkedIn) - Perfect mastery of German or French language, as well as very good knowledge of English and a second national language - Willingness to work occasionally evenings or weekends for events - Work permit in Switzerland What we offer: - The opportunity to engage with the UN and multilateralism in a small, dynamic team - Insight into the work of the UN and other international organizations - Chance to expand your professional network - Collaboration with institutional partners and organizations like DFAE, UNHCR, UN Human Rights Council, and many more - Opportunity to shape a project from start to finish - High flexibility The Association Suisse-ONU does not have a fixed workplace.
