Internship Office Management

TJX (www.tjx.com) is the world's leading off-price retailer of apparel and home goods, with over 5,200 stores in 10 countries and more than 370,000 employees. In Italy, although we do not have retail stores, we are present with a Global Buying Office, composed of over 150 professionals distributed across 4 locations (2 in Florence and 2 in Milan).

We are looking for a motivated intern to join the Office Management team, for a rich and varied training experience.

During the internship, you will have the opportunity to:

• Discover the operational heart of the company: you will understand how the Office Management department supports daily activities, from sample management to office maintenance, from procurement to the front desk.
• Actively collaborate with the team: you will participate in purchase planning, inventory monitoring, and delivery management.
• Manage operational activities: you will be responsible for booking company cars, preparing meeting rooms, entering shipments, and front desk reception.
• Manage the sample collection: you will be involved in the movement, sorting, and shipping of samples, collaborating with the buying departments.
• Participate in short business trips: you may visit other company locations and experience teamwork firsthand.
• Gain an overall view of the company: you will learn about the different departments and understand how the Office Management department integrates with other functions.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of the Italian language
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Precision, practical approach, and eagerness to learn in an international environment

DURATION: 6 months

WORKING HOURS: full time, Monday to Friday

WORK LOCATION: Florence Office

EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT: €700 per month + meal vouchers (€10 per day)
