At 1KOMMA5°, we are building Europe's leading energy software platform “Heartbeat”, thereby creating a virtual power plant that links customers' photovoltaic systems, electricity storage, heat pumps, and charging stations, significantly increasing the profitability of networked customer systems. We also offer customers a "One-Stop-Shop" for purchasing and installing individual and intelligent energy system solutions, enabling every household to live, heat, and be mobile in a climate-neutral way quickly and professionally. Simultaneously, in our technology division, we are working on the further development and expansion of the Heartbeat software to connect customers to the electricity market worldwide and thus always offer the cheapest and cleanest electricity tariff.

Your Position

As the Energy team, we are part of the Product and Tech team at 1KOMMA5°. We work daily to make our digital products available to thousands of customers worldwide. We are growing strongly and are therefore looking for further support! What counts is that you are motivated to tackle the tasks listed below, put the pedal to the metal (or rather, the electricity), and are looking for a steep learning curve.

• You will independently take on automation projects – from the analysis of operational processes to their implementation.
• To do this, you will go through our operational processes yourself, so you truly understand the processes you are automating at the individual customer level.
• You will collaborate with our Process and Operations team to understand challenges and build solutions with measurable impact based on them.
• For this, you will use automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier) as well as coding agents to connect systems and develop app prototypes.
• You will set up robust and scalable data structures and ensure that automations are documented in our knowledge base.
• You will independently evaluate new AI tools and automation platforms and contribute suggestions on how we can further improve and automate processes.

Your Profile

• You are studying Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field – or are tech-savvy with proven experience.
• You have practical experience with automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier).
• You possess a strong hands-on mentality and proactively drive initiatives forward.
• You can support us as an intern for at least 5 months, and preferably longer (desired: 6 months).
• For this position, it is essential that you feel comfortable communicating fluently in German (minimum C1 level).
• You are looking for a steep learning curve and are open to feedback – everyone can learn, and we want to provide space for that.
• Do you already have initial experience in the energy industry? Great! Are you still a rookie in the industry? No problem – motivation and willingness to learn are what count for us!
