Job Description International Admissions Officer Location: Auckland CBD Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid About the role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and service-driven Admissions Officer to join our team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end admissions process, assess student eligibility, and ensure a smooth enrolment experience across UP Education providers. In this pivotal role, you will facilitate and manage the admission process and determine student applicants' admissibility for various programs. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, responding to inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and stakeholders, and contribute to the growth and success of our education providers. Key responsibilities: • Manage the end-to-end admissions process from application receipt to enrolment confirmation • Assess student eligibility for various programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies • Ensure a smooth enrolment experience across UP Education providers, including communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders • Facilitate and manage the admission process, determining student applicants' admissibility for various programs • Maintain accurate records of admissions-related activities, including application tracking, decision-making, and communication • Respond to inquiries from students, parents, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, recruitment, and student services, to ensure effective communication and coordination • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, policies, and procedures related to admissions and enrolment. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, administration) or equivalent experience • 2+ years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs) • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
