Internal Sales Front Counter

The company As part of a Nationally recognised pump and irrigation products and design retail group, this organisation is a one stop shop for industry related items such as pumps, filtration systems, pipe and fittings and has proudly supported its local community for the past 25 years. Having experienced steady growth, they are now seeking to appoint a retail and practically skilled allrounder to support walk-in and online sales. The position As the Retail Allrounder you will be required to work both within the front counter sales environment and also undertake picking and packing duties for online orders. Your main responsibilities will include: * Providing excellent customer service to both walk-in and phone customers * Assisting customers with product selection and providing technical advice as required * Processing sales transactions accurately using the POS system * Maintaining a clean and organised work area * Assisting with stock control and inventory management * Picking and packing online orders ready for dispatch * Receiving and unloading deliveries * Other general warehouse duties as required To be successful in this role you will possess: * Proven experience in a retail sales environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong customer service skills * A proactive and positive attitude * The ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic computer skills * A current driver's license * Forklift license highly regarded but not essential If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn, then we encourage you to apply.
