Internal Recruiter (South Africa)

Job Title: Recruiter Employment Type: Full-Time Remote Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the full recruitment lifecycle from crafting job postings to conducting initial candidate interviews. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen eye for identifying top talent. Key Responsibilities: Job Description & Posting: Draft clear, compelling, and accurate job descriptions. Post job openings on various platforms and sources. Sourcing & Screening: Proactively source candidates using various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards). Screen resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications. Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate suitability. Candidate Management: Manage and maintain candidate databases. Coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Provide timely feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process. Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with hiring managers to understand their needs. Collaborate with the HR team to improve recruitment processes. Build and maintain relationships with candidates. Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant labor laws and regulations. Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Recruiter or in a similar role. Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Familiarity with South African labor laws and regulations (a plus).
