Internal Auditor

• Experience in internal/external audit 2-4 years.
• CAFR certification in progress would be considered an advantage.
• English language medium level.
• Availability for onsite working program from Monday to Friday between 7:50am and 4:40pm and free minibus transport.

• Perform audit missions in accordance with the internal audit plan and audit methodology.
• Document J-SOX (Japanese version Sarbanes-Oxley Act) testing results.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controlsand recommend improvements.
• Monitor audit progress to ensure completion within deadline.
• Communicate audit findings to audit management in accurately, objectively, clearly, concisely, and timely manner.
• Managing several audit projects simultaneously.

Makita projects and produces a wide range of electric tools, which includes, mainly, circular and pendulum saws, drills, machines for screwing, rotary hammers, polishers and grinders. In 2015, the Makita Corporation celebrated its 100th anniversary since its founding, during which it became the most important Japanese portable power tool manufacturer with international recognition.

Makita has factories located in Japan, Brazil, China, Thailand, Germany, the United Kingdom, USA and Romania, approximately two-thirds of the production being realized outside Japan.

The Makita Corporation began producing tools in Romania in March 2007, anticipating that this production unit would become the most important one in Europe. Currently, the Makita factory in Romania has over 2500 employees.
