Internal Audit Manager

Our client is a Singapore-licensed real estate fund management company managing private real estate funds across Asia-Pacific. This is a hands-on, sole contributor role with direct exposure to senior management and the board. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit plan aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations. Conduct internal audits across fund management operations, governance, compliance, financial controls, valuation processes, outsourcing; Identify and assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor progress. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations. Provide regular updates to senior management and the board on audit findings and recommendations. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's business operations, risk profile, and regulatory environment. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including fund managers, investment teams, and other internal departments. Provide guidance and support to ensure effective implementation of audit findings and recommendations. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's business operations, risk profile, and regulatory environment. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
