Intern Strategy & Pricing Consultant (m/w/d)

Your Mission

We are looking for you as Intern Strategy & Pricing Consultant (m/w/d) in Berlin in a hybrid model for at least 3 months.

As Intern Strategy & Pricing Consultant (m/w/d), you will have the opportunity to independently manage a strategically relevant project: the redesign of our global pricing model for Freelance Talents.

The goal of this position is to develop a scalable, data-based pricing concept that shows both strategic and operational direct impact.

• Project Ownership & Strategic Responsibility: You will have the opportunity to independently drive a strategically high-relevant project while working closely with one of our Operational Excellence & Strategy Managers.
• Pricing- & Market Analysis: You will work on an innovative, data-driven pricing model that makes our global marketplace business scalable. While analyzing market rates, benchmarks for comparable service and call center roles, as well as country-specific cost structures like taxes, levies, and health insurance, you will receive guidance to derive targeted price strategies, margin logic, and growth assumptions that support our expansion.
• Research & Due Diligence: You will build a robust competitive and benchmark database through interviews with talents on our platform, market research, etc. and analyze selected international markets specifically. While receiving support, you will critically evaluate external data sources and validate them to deliver fundamental insights for management and leadership.
• Modeling & Concept Development: You will link qualitative and quantitative parameters to a clear, sustainable pricing model, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, and define precise target prices for each market, supported by mentoring.
• Stakeholder Communication: You will prepare your results professionally, understandably, and persuasively and present them internally. While building practical presentation and communication skills, you will also see the direct impact of your work on the company.

Your Skillset

• Academic Career: You have a Master or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Natural Sciences, or similar fields or are currently studying at a renowned university.
• Relevant Work Experience: You have already gained first-hand experience in the fields of strategy consulting, corporate strategy, solution engineering, or similar. Knowledge of creating pricing strategies or systematic procurement, evaluation, and validation of external data sources is an asset.
• Conceptual Strength: You have the ability to derive logical analyses from collected data and argue them convincingly before colleagues.
• Self-Initiative & Independence: You can plan, drive, and close a project largely independently.
• Number Affinity: You are comfortable with quantitative information and financial key figures and are sure in handling Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, scenario analyses).
• Linguistic Skills: You communicate easily and confidently in written and spoken German and English (on C1 level) and possess a healthy dose of humor.
