Intern - Finance (m/w/d)

As Finance Intern (m/w/d) you will be part of a central project: the first-time implementation of our ERP system Odoo. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, external implementation partners, and other internal stakeholders and gain deep insights into building and scaling a modern finance setup.

The focus of your internship will be on operational support for the Odoo implementation, combined with First Level Support for finance-related processes. You will not only learn accounting 'from theory', but also experience firsthand how financial processes are systemically represented, tested, and optimized in a growing company.

Aufgaben

ERP / Odoo Implementation

• Active participation in the first-time introduction of Odoo as an ERP system
• Support for mapping, documenting, and testing finance processes in ERP
• First Level Support for internal teams on questions about Odoo and finance-related workflows
• Tight collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders (Finance, Operations, Tech, Implementation Partners)

Operatives Finance & Accounting

• Preliminary accounting of credit card statements and incoming invoices for all teams
• Capture and allocation of all accountably relevant business transactions for our companies
• Capture and pre-accounting of all incoming invoices in our digital expense management tool (Finway)
• Monitoring of outgoing payments and support for account clarification
• Creation of intercompany invoices
• Support for ad-hoc analyses and evaluations for Finance and Management

Qualifikation

Your Profile

• Enrolled student for economics, business administration or a comparable degree with a focus on accounting/finance.
• Meticulous and structured working style.
• Outstanding organizational talent with hands-on mentality.
• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking.
• Good MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Availability for at least 5-6 months
