PHASOR Engineering Inc. is a dynamic Alberta based company specializing in engineering, design, and testing / commissioning of high voltage electrical facilities. Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances, such as IEC 61850, to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering. This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from preliminary engineering through to the commissioning and startup. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: * Design and develop civil engineering projects, including roadways, buildings, and other infrastructure, in accordance with relevant codes and standards. * Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. * Collaborate with other disciplines, such as electrical and mechanical engineers, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements. * Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. * Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians. * Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and other technical discussions. * Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other stakeholders. * Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies. * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the power industry. * Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations. * Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks. * Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports. * Ability to travel to project sites and work in a variety of environments. * We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. * If you are a motivated and experienced civil engineer looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to [insert contact information].
