Interior Designer

Company Description Butter Concepts is a multi-disciplinary design firm specializing in Architecture, Interior Design, Visual Branding, Packaging Design, and Industrial Design. The studio brings together diverse design disciplines to create cohesive, thoughtful solutions for clients across sectors.

Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at Butter Concepts’ studio in Ahmedabad. This role involves developing interior concepts, preparing space plans, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) for a range of projects. The Interior Designer will produce detailed drawings and documentation, collaborate with architects and other design team members, and support project coordination during design and execution stages. Daily tasks include client interaction, translating requirements into functional and aesthetic solutions, and ensuring that designs align with project timelines, budgets, and overall brand and architectural vision. The role requires active participation in design reviews and ongoing refinement of concepts based on feedback.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Architecture for integrated spatial and design solutions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning to create efficient, functional, and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings to develop clear, detailed technical documentation for execution.
• Candidates should possess skills in FF&E selection and coordination to ensure cohesive material, furniture, and fixture specifications.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with visualization tools.
• Strong design sense, attention to detail, and ability to present concepts through drawings, mood boards, and presentations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and engage with clients professionally.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in interior projects is preferred.
