Interior Design Project Manager

Job description

Interior Design Project Manager

Behind every stunning space is a team that keeps the details perfectly aligned — and that’s where you come in.

We’re a fast-growing interior design studio known for our high-end residential and commercial interiors that combine luxury aesthetics with technical precision. Our team excels at architectural rendering, specification management, and design execution — and now, we’re looking for a Design Operations Assistant who can help us scale that excellence.

This is not a purely administrative role. You’ll be the right hand to the lead designer — managing Revit drawings, sourcing products, coordinating with our global rendering team, and keeping every moving part of our projects organized and on track.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Design Execution: Work in Revit (priority), AutoCAD, and 3ds Max to update technical drawings, renderings, and specs that align with design intent.
  • Organize & Communicate: Maintain detailed, accessible records of materials, vendors, and product data — turning creative direction into structured documentation.
  • Create Beautiful Presentations: Use Canva to build spec sheets and visual decks based on data shared through Miro and digital mood boards.
  • Source Smart Alternatives: Find high-quality, budget-conscious substitutes for luxury inspirations (you love the hunt for the perfect match).
  • Keep the Studio Flowing: Review Miro boards, identify next steps, and complete tasks independently — no hand-holding required.
  • Collaborate Globally: Oversee our overseas rendering team, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
  • Assist with Budgets: Help build and maintain project budgets by inputting and cross-checking item costs with designer and contractor expectations.
  • Turn Vision into Action: Take the lead designer’s ideas and translate them into tangible drawings, layouts, and polished design presentations.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Expertise in Revit (required) — you’re fast, fluent, and confident in all aspects of technical modeling and documentation.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Canva — a strong plus.
  • Comfort using Miro or similar digital whiteboards for collaboration.
  • A designer’s eye for detail and the organizational discipline to back it up.
  • Experience in interior design or architectural rendering, with familiarity in product sourcing and technical documentation.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal — clear, professional, and proactive.
  • Independent and solution-oriented — you take initiative, anticipate needs, and finish what you start.
  • Meticulous and resourceful, balancing creativity with precision and process.

Why This Role Matters

Design moves fast and great execution depends on people who see the gaps, close the loops, and bring order to creative chaos.

Your work will help our design team focus on what they do best: creating beautiful, high-functioning spaces for our clients.

If you love blending creativity with structure — and take pride in seeing a design vision come to life through your precision and initiative — we’d love to hear from you.
