Job description

Certus Group is an organization advisory bureau for the public sector. Since our founding in 2015, we have worked with a team of dedicated professionals with diverse qualities. From our offices in Rotterdam, Utrecht, and Tilburg, we advise, connect, and guide people within the public domain.

In the regions of Utrecht, North Holland, and Flevoland, Certus Group has built a strong local network. As a result, municipalities involve us for various issues within the physical domain, such as talent development, strategic personnel advice, and optimizing staff deployment. To expand our team, we are looking for an Interim Project Leader Spatial Development. In this role, you will work closely with our partners in the regions and be responsible for executing challenging projects that contribute to the growth and development of the public sector.

Certus Group stands for collaboration, quality, and knowledge, as well as talent development, growth, and space for self-development. We offer you the opportunity to deploy your talents and develop both yourself and the municipalities in the region.

Over the function
  • As Interim Project Leader Spatial Development within Certus Group, you support municipalities goal-orientedly in addressing social challenges in the physical domain.
  • You will work on a project basis with various and diverse projects within municipalities in the regions of Utrecht, North Holland, and/or Flevoland. This includes, among other things, strategic and complex housing issues, building new residential areas, making areas ready for habitation, transformations, sustainability, and area exploitation.
  • Knowledge sharing is central to Certus Group. Together with other colleagues, you organize internal knowledge sessions, where we signal relevant market developments and discuss how we can respond to them.
  • You will also play a crucial role in guiding and training (interim) trainees and junior professionals within Certus Group.
  • You have insight into the connection between process, subject matter, and organization, and can place this in a broader context than just your own work area.
  • You advise management, board members, social organizations, and citizens of municipalities by signaling, analyzing, and suggesting solution directions for issues within the physical domain.
