Interim Policy Advisor Spatial Development

In the regions of Utrecht, North Holland, Flevoland, and Gelderland, Certus Group has built a strong local network. As a result, municipalities turn to us for various issues within the physical domain, such as talent development, strategic personnel advice, and optimizing staff deployment. To expand our team, we are looking for an Interim Policy Advisor Spatial Development. In this role, you will work closely with our partners in the regions and be responsible for implementing challenging projects that contribute to the growth and development of the public sector.

• As an Interim Policy Advisor Spatial Development within Certus Group, you support municipalities in a goal-oriented manner on social challenges in the spatial domain. In this role, you work on themes such as area developments, the Environmental Act, and sustainability.
• You will work on a project basis with various and diverse projects within municipalities in the regions of Utrecht, North Holland, Flevoland, and Gelderland. This includes advising and developing policy around the layout and use of physical space, such as spatial planning, urban planning, and mobility.
• Knowledge sharing is central to Certus Group. Together with other colleagues, you organize internal knowledge sessions, where we signal relevant market developments and discuss how we can respond to them.
• You will also play a crucial role in guiding and training (interim) trainees and other junior professionals within Certus Group.
• You have insight into the connection between process, subject matter, and organization, and can place this in a broader context than just your own work area.
• You advise management, board members, social organizations, and citizens of municipalities by signaling, analyzing, and suggesting solution directions for issues within the physical domain.
