Interim Controller (m/f/d) SaaS / Grafana

• Our client is a growing corporate group from the logistics sector with several companies.

• The goal is to significantly professionalize group-wide controlling and reporting and to map it in a central BI solution.

• The project offers a lot of scope for design and direct exchange with management and internal IT.

Responsibilities

• Setup of a uniform controlling and reporting structure across multiple companies

• Consolidation of existing data from DATEV, Excel, and a proprietary platform

• Conception and further development of a central dashboard in Grafana

• Definition of relevant KPIs, reporting logics, and data structures

• Creation of a clear functional concept for technical implementation by internal IT

• Coordination and harmonization of existing controlling processes

• Ensuring a consistent data basis for management and financial reporting

• Support of the implementation until a functional reporting setup

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in controlling, finance, or group reporting

• Experience in setting up or further developing group-wide controlling structures

• Practical experience with Grafana optional

• Experience with BI tools, reporting systems, and data consolidation

• Ideally, experience in the SaaS, platform, or logistics sector

• DATEV knowledge is an advantage

• Very good Excel skills

• Ability to structure and prepare functional requirements for IT teams

• Hands-on mentality and independent working style

• Fluent German and good English skills

Benefits

• Freelance interim mandate

• Utilization: approx. 20 hours per week

• Project start: September 21 or 28, 2026, alternatively early October

• Project duration: initially approx. 4–6 weeks

• Goal: Implementation of the central controlling setup by Christmas

• Location: Hamburg

• At the beginning of the project, individual on-site appointments to get to know the team and system landscape

• Subsequently, mostly remote work is possible
