A leading Tier 1 infrastructure delivery organisation is seeking an experienced Integration Lead to support a high-profile freight and logistics development in Melbourne’s west. This role is ideal for an engineering professional who thrives in complex, multidisciplinary environments and enjoys driving cohesion across multiple project streams.

You will be responsible for guiding the integration of civil, rail, structural, electrical, communications and operational systems to ensure the project functions as a unified whole. This includes overseeing interface management, operational readiness plans, asset handover frameworks, and ensuring all technical elements align with project and contractual requirements.

You will work closely with engineering teams, delivery partners, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to proactively identify risks, resolve interface challenges, and maintain clear communication across all project disciplines.

• Develop and maintain the project’s integration strategy and interface management framework
  

• Coordinate interactions between civil works, track, signalling, power, and communications
  

• Oversee operational readiness planning and asset management documentation
  

• Monitor progress, prepare integration status reports, and manage risks
  

• Support testing and commissioning activities and confirm integrated system functionality
  

• Work with stakeholders to confirm that technical, safety, and operational requirements are met
  

• Maintain accurate records for integration decisions, technical changes, and audit compliance
  

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar discipline

5–10 years’ experience on rail or major infrastructure projects

Strong background in systems integration, interface management, or operational readiness

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a complex engineering environment

Understanding of testing, commissioning, and operational transition processes
