Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead

Role Summary The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead is responsible for planning, developing, and managing all ILS activities across programs (especially Defence) to ensure systems, vehicles, equipment, and platforms achieve required operational availability, maintainability, reliability, and lifecycle supportability. This role ensures the delivered system can be effectively operated, maintained, repaired, and sustained throughout its service life in accordance with customer requirements. The ILS Lead will work closely with programme managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective logistics strategies that meet customer needs. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing integrated logistics plans for programmes • Coordinating and managing the delivery of logistics support services across multiple sites and countries • Collaborating with programme teams to identify and mitigate logistical risks and issues • Providing technical guidance and advice on logistics matters to programme managers and other stakeholders • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure effective logistics support throughout the lifecycle of a system or platform. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as experience in logistics planning, programme management, and stakeholder engagement.
