Insurance Solicitor

Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid) This is an excellent opportunity to join the market-leading subrogated recoveries team at a Legal 500 Top 100 firm with an international reputation, based in Manchester. Role Overview The team specialises in providing coverage advice and defending high-value complex property damage and subrogated recovery claims, including international matters. You will collaborate with colleagues worldwide providing specialist advice to clients. You will be joining a team of lawyers who are experts in their field, handling a diverse caseload of subrogated recoveries and coverage matters. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice to clients on insurance coverage and subrogated recovery claims. Manage a caseload of complex and high-value claims. Conduct legal research and analysis. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements. Represent clients in court and at mediations. Negotiate settlements with opposing parties. Maintain client communication and provide regular updates on case progress. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Contribute to the growth and development of the team. Requirements: Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales. Experience in insurance law, with a focus on subrogated recoveries and coverage. Strong understanding of insurance policies and their interpretation. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear and concise advice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
