Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) Working Student

Part Time Entry Level

Job description

You don't want to just maintain any plant, but oversee a technology that is unique worldwide? ⚡

Our client is a fast-growing GreenTech Startup developing one of the world's first scalable road power plants. The technology uses existing road infrastructure to generate renewable energy from traffic passing over it, without requiring additional space.

As a Maintenance Technician in Hamburg, you will take over the technical supervision of the road power plant installed there. You will ensure that the plant runs reliably, carry out maintenance and repairs, and systematically get to the bottom of technical disruptions.

You will not simply take over existing processes. As this is a completely new technology, you will actively help shape how maintenance, service, and upkeep will be structured in the future. Your experience from ongoing operations will thus flow directly into the further development of service processes.

Your Benefits

  • Unique Technology: Supervise the world's first road power plant in ongoing operation and work on a GreenTech technology that does not exist anywhere else in this form.

  • Real Scope for Design: Build maintenance plans, service processes, and maintenance structures together with the team, rather than merely taking over existing procedures.

  • Flexible Part-Time: Work 20 to 30 hours per week with flexible working hours that can be easily combined with studies or other commitments.

  • Independent Work: Take over the technical supervision of the plant in Hamburg and receive a lot of freedom in maintenance, error analysis, and upkeep.

  • Development Perspective: Develop together with the technology and take on additional responsibility for operation and service as your experience grows.

  • Attractive Compensation: Receive attractive pay on a negotiation basis, tailored to your qualifications and practical experience.

Your Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be jointly responsible for the reliable technical operation of the road power plant in Hamburg.

  • Maintenance & Upkeep: Inspect and maintain the plant across mechanics, hydraulics, and electrics, and take care of tasks such as hydraulic oil maintenance.

  • Troubleshooting: Analyze technical problems, fix errors, and document not only the solution but also the respective cause.

  • Service Development: Create and develop maintenance plans, spare parts lists, and technical service documentation for the plant.

  • Spare Parts Management: Keep an eye on the spare parts stored on-site and ensure their structured management.

Your Profile as a Maintenance Technician

  • You have a technical background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, energy technology, or a comparable technical qualification.

  • You have practical experience in the mechanical maintenance and repair of technical plants.

  • You have a solid understanding of hydraulic systems and can independently comprehend technical contexts.

  • You are available for 20 to 30 hours per week and have the flexibility to occasionally work early, late, or on weekends, if suitable time windows are available for work on the terminal.

  • You enjoy taking responsibility, work independently, and remain calm even when facing technical problems.

  • You enjoy working directly on the plant and outdoors and feel comfortable in an active traffic and logistics environment.

  • The ability to safely read technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electrical schematics is an advantage.

Do you want to not only maintain a globally unique GreenTech plant but also actively help shape how its future operation and service will be structured? ⚡
