Installation Manager Electrical Safety Metro

As the installation manager, you ensure that all electrical work in the metro area proceeds safely. You are the link between planning and execution, and your approval is essential before work can commence.

What you will do

You are formally responsible for the safety of high and low voltage installations and the traction system. This means you:

• Develop and monitor safety guidelines for all electrical work
• Guide colleagues and contractors with clear instructions and coaching
• Keep safety documents, procedures, and audits up to date
• Are involved from the beginning in large projects such as the renewal of rectifier substations
• Identify risks such as arc flash scenarios and translate them into practical measures
• Develop training and instructions for employees
• Functionally manage the switchboard operators

In emergencies such as water in tunnels or power supply failures, you make quick decisions and maintain an overview. Your rule is simple: if there is any doubt about safety, work stops.

• Salary between € 4,170 and € 6,004 gross per month (36 hours per week, scale 10A)

What you bring

We are looking for craftsmanship and the right behavior. You don't need to master everything perfectly, but you recognize yourself in:

• Electrical engineering insight to assess risks and analyze designs
• Strong structure and thoroughness in maintaining procedures
• Ability to coach people and involve them in safety
• Sense of responsibility and courage to make decisions
• Ability to influence without formal hierarchy

Experience with high and low voltage, traction systems, or complex infrastructure is valuable. Certifications such as NEN 3140/3840/1010 are a nice bonus, but you can also obtain them with us.

Your team

You will work in a small, close-knit team within Railinfra together with an asset manager, three maintenance engineers, and an inspector. The atmosphere is open and collegial, with everyone contributing their expertise. You fulfill an independent, strategic role but are never alone.
