Offshore Materials Inspector END

We are looking for an Offshore Materials Inspector to work in a 14x14 regime, ensuring the integrity, conformity and safety of materials and equipment in our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual, dimensional and non-destructive testing (LP, PM, US) on materials and equipment;
• Conduct inspections on steel ropes according to norms ABNT NBR ISO 4309 and IMCA M 194 – Rev.2;
• Prepare and maintain technical reports (RelMat Digital), recording and controlling the situation of all materials inspected;
• Support inspections MWS (Marine Warranty Survey) in DOF and contractor projects;
• Verify, validate and monitor material embarkation/disembarkation, ensuring certifications and conformity;
• Manage equipment, tools and consumables used in inspections.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• Technical education completed with CFT active;

Certification by SNQC/ABENDI in:

• Liquid Penetrant (LP) – Level 1
• Magnetic Particle (PM) – Level 1

Certification SNQC/END in:

• Visual and Dimensional Inspection – Level 1
• Ultrasonic Testing (US) – Level 3

Knowledge and experience in:

• ABNT NBR ISO 4309 (steel ropes and load movement)
• IMCA M 194 – Rev.2 (offshore cable integrity)

Experience in offshore inspections and material management.

Addition Certifications:

• CBSP – Basic Safety Course on Platform
• HUET – Helicopter Underwater Escape Training
• NR33 – Confined Space
• NR35 – Working at Height
