Supervision Inspector - Sanitary Industry (m/f)

Your responsibilities

• Performing investor supervision for investment, renovation, and demolition works in accordance with the Construction Law and concluded agreements
• Confirming work measurements, quantities of actually performed works, controlling construction settlements, confirming as-built cost estimates
• Financial and substantive settlement of renovation and investment works of facilities and installations
• Preparing tender documentation (STWIORB, scope of work description, technical documentation) for design works and construction works in the sanitary industry
• Preparing work quantity surveys, investor cost estimates, technical specifications
• Preparing and participating in acceptance procedures for construction works and their commissioning
• Supervising the removal of reported or noticed defects during the warranty period
• Monitoring and coordinating the process of preparing design documentation and participating in acceptance procedures
• Checking and verifying design documentation, work quantity surveys, investor cost estimates, technical specifications for execution and acceptance of works prepared by external entities in terms of technical, substantive, and formal aspects
• Organizing and participating in periodic inspections of buildings and structures
• Participating in activities related to the functioning and organization of the Department and other University units

Our requirements

• Secondary or higher technical education in environmental engineering – sanitary installations or related fields
• Construction qualifications for managing construction works in the installation specialty for heating, ventilation, gas, water supply, and sewage networks, installations, and equipment
• Membership in the Polish Chamber of Construction Engineers along with the required insurance
• Good knowledge of the investment preparation process for implementation
• Ability to prepare work quantity surveys and investor cost estimates
• Knowledge of MS Office suite and cost estimating software
• Knowledge of the Public Procurement Law and Construction Law, including implementing regulations, and the ability to apply them
• Independence, good work organization
• Communication skills
