Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specializing in inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of advanced LEAP engines that equip the latest generation of narrow-body aircraft families Airbus A320NEO and Boeing B737MAX. With over 75 years of experience and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/FAA/CAAC/…), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a leading player in the MRO industry, offering a wide range of services including engine inspection, maintenance, repair, overhaul, testing and certification. Our team of experts has extensive knowledge and experience in working with LEAP engines and other advanced aircraft engines. We are looking for an experienced Inspector to join our team and contribute to the success of our company. As an Inspector at Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels, you will be responsible for performing visual inspections on jet engines, including LEAP engines, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will also be required to identify and report any defects or anomalies found during the inspection process. In addition, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of your inspections and provide detailed reports to our customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Duties: • Perform visual inspections on jet engines, including LEAP engines, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. • Identify and report any defects or anomalies found during the inspection process. • Maintain accurate records of your inspections and provide detailed reports to our customers. • Collaborate with other team members to resolve any issues that may arise during the inspection process. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering). • At least 2 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in engine inspection and maintenance. • Strong knowledge of LEAP engines and other advanced aircraft engines. • Excellent visual inspection skills and ability to identify defects or anomalies. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and reporting skills. • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
