Electrical Engineering Inspector | SCIOS / NEN 3140

As an Electrical Engineering Inspector at Visser, you ensure that electrical installations function safely, reliably, and according to current standards. You independently carry out inspections, assess installations, and clearly document your findings.
NEN 1010 and NEN 3140 are familiar territory for you, and you have experience with electrical inspections. You possess your Scope 10 certificate and want to continue developing your knowledge.
You will work on diverse projects in Beverwijk, Amsterdam, and surrounding areas. This means a lot of autonomy, but with an experienced team behind you.

What you will do

As an Electrical Engineering Inspector, you will independently conduct inspections of electrical installations at various clients.
You will be involved in:

• Inspecting electrical installations according to NEN 1010 and NEN 3140;

• Performing SCIOS Scope 8 and Scope 10 inspections;

• Carrying out measurements and evaluating measurement results;

• Identifying defects, deviations, and safety risks;

• Preparing professional and clear inspection reports;

• Discussing your findings and advising clients;

• Proposing solutions and improvement points;

• Working according to current laws and regulations.

You will have a lot of independence and responsibility. After all, the client relies on your technical judgment.

What you bring

For this position, we are looking for someone with a solid electrical engineering foundation and experience in the field.

• A relevant MBO or HBO education;

• Several years of experience in the electrical installation industry;

• Knowledge of NEN 1010 and NEN 3140;

• You are in possession of a SCIOS Scope 10 certificate;

• Knowledge of and/or experience with Scope 8 inspections is a strong advantage;

• You work accurately, independently, and take responsibility for your judgment;

• You are customer- and service-oriented and can clearly explain technical findings;

• You are comfortable working with a computer and digital reporting;

• You have a good command of the Dutch language, partly for independently preparing inspection reports.
