Electricity Inspector - Port

After a training period, you will work together with your colleague inspectors to perform the mandatory statutory inspections of electrical installations (low and high voltage, fire and explosion safety, special tests and measurements, etc...). Through your work, you will personally ensure the safety of the client, his employees, and your colleagues.

Your training is focused on achieving various qualifications that are split into different types of installations and types of inspections (conformity controls or periodic inspections). If you pass a qualification test, you will receive independent assignments from our service “planning”.

You will start from home and travel to your clients to perform the various requested inspections and make a clear digital report. If necessary, you will also be able to motivate the client as to why a certain installation is negatively evaluated. You will build a thorough knowledge of the existing legislation.

In the beginning, you will follow training while also working independently, until you have acquired all the necessary qualifications (inspections of low-voltage and high-voltage installations, thermal controls, etc...). Then, with your team leader, you will look at which domains you want and can deepen (fire alarm, water, gas, ATEX, special tests and measurements, EN 60204, verification of laser posts, controls abroad, etc.).

You can always rely on your colleagues, team leader, and technical expert to help you further and provide explanations.

You will report directly to the team leader of Flanders.
