The Role
InsideBoard is the AI platform dedicated to change management. We support adoption and performance at the world's largest companies (Stellantis, General Motors, Michelin, La Poste, Pernod Ricard, and others).
As a Solution Engineer, you are the technical bridge between our clients and the platform: you participate in client workshops, capture needs, and then use AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Windsurf, and our internal agent tooling) to configure, integrate, and extend the InsideBoard platform, often within the same week.
This is not a classic software engineer role, and you don't need to master all the technologies in our stack. You orchestrate AI agents on a well-documented internal ecosystem (API surface, n8n automation, agent-friendly conventions).
AI writes most of the code; your job is to know what it's doing, verify it's doing the right thing, and stop it when it's not. And you manage the client relationship on the technical side.
Your Missions
Facing the client (approximately 50%)
- Lead scoping and specification workshops with major clients (in French and English), from kickoff to steering committees (COPIL).
- Transform meetings into actionable deliverables: functional specifications, status matrices, wireframes, integration guides, user guides, meeting minutes with validated decisions.
- Defend arbitration decisions with the client: standard configuration or specific development, target vision or pragmatic solution, and own the recommendation.
- Respond to security reviews and technical due diligence questions; write root cause analyses in case of production incidents.
Platform Configuration and Data (approximately 50%)
- Configure the InsideBoard platform via its administration interface or its APIs: KPIs (formulas, aggregation, frequencies), action plans and coaching programs, challenges, guidance, profile sections, custom fields, forms, notifications, user, department, and tag imports.
- Build and maintain n8n automation workflows: webhooks, scheduled tasks, AI-generated summaries, RAG content pipelines, centralized error alerting to Slack.
- Script data operations in Python or TypeScript: mass migrations with dry-run and rollback discipline, license audits, engagement reports, Excel/CSV/SFTP exchanges with client IT departments.
- Connect LLM features for clients: AI-generated performance summaries, OCR pipelines, RAG knowledge bases, agent prompt design.
You don't need to know all the technologies we use. You need enough technical depth to supervise an AI that knows them: understand its plan, ask the right questions, spot when it's going off track, and validate the result before it reaches a client.
Essential
- True mastery of AI code agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or equivalent): you know how to precisely specify a task, guide the agent, critically review its output, and verify the result. You also know when not to trust it.
- Technical oversight capability: you read a diff or a log well enough to understand what has changed and why, you follow an API call from end to end, you verify data transformation consistency, and you test what the AI has built before delivering.
- Writing code from scratch is not required.
- Proficiency with REST APIs: authentication, pagination, rate limits; comfortable with JSON/CSV/XLSX data plumbing.
- Excellent client communication in French and English: you know how to lead a workshop, diplomatically steer conversations back on track, and write documents that an IT Director will read.
- Rigor and caution with production dry runs, rollback plans, logs. You have the AI double-check before any mass update.
- Development experience (TypeScript, Python), useful but not required.
- Experience with n8n, Zapier, Make, or a similar automation platform.
- Exposure to enterprise ecosystems: Salesforce, Dynamics 365, SAP, SSO.
- Experience with LLM integration (OpenAI/Anthropic/Mistral APIs, RAG, prompt design).
- A background in SaaS adoption, change management, or customer success engineering.
