Packing Supervisor / Evening Shift / Ninove

Job Description

- As a packing supervisor, I work with my team to ensure an efficient packing flow so that our products are packed correctly and efficiently according to the imposed standards.
- During my shift, I act as the first point of contact within the department and am responsible for managing our packing operators and providing support where necessary.
- Together with the team, I am responsible for sorting out non-conforming products, setting up and operating our packaging and labeling machines, printing the correct labels, and controlling and counting the packed products.
- I ensure that product changes are carried out smoothly and coordinate staff handovers during short and lunch breaks.
- I handle minor, simple technical malfunctions myself. For complex technical problems, I report them to our department manager and contribute to finding sustainable solutions.
- I ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and hygiene regulations.

Profile
- I have already gained experience in a leadership role. Knowledge of a production environment and/or various packaging installations is a big asset.
- As a packing supervisor, I work alongside the team and, with my hands-on approach and can-do mentality, I manage, motivate, and guide our packing operators.
- Organization, communication, and a sense of responsibility are my keywords, and my creative mind finds a solution for every problem.
- I am also results-oriented and always keep our quality requirements in mind.
- I speak Dutch fluently. Knowledge of French is a plus.


- I am a flexible person willing to work in an evening shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
