Function

For the role of purchaser, you will be responsible for purchasing merchandise and supplies. You will support the entire purchasing process up to and including invoice checking:

Purchasing trading material;
Processing and placing internal purchase requests;
Analyzing price offers and following up on price agreements;
Following up on orders with suppliers (the sister company);
Negotiating prices with the various production factories;
Preparing weekly reports on purchase prices for the sales department;
Focusing on continuous improvement: analyzing data to optimize purchasing processes;
Processing claims.

Profile

For the job of purchaser, we are looking for the following profile:

You have experience in a purchasing environment or you have completed training in a technical or economic direction;
You are someone who likes to move forward and is not passive, you have a hands-on mentality;
You are communicative in Dutch, English, and French;
Negotiating does not scare you;
You enjoy analyzing and optimizing processes;
MS Office and SAP are familiar to you.
