About us

We are an independent, non-profit think tank in political Berlin. The focus of our work is the path towards a climate-friendly society and economy: a just transformation that succeeds. What drives us is the desire to shape the future more progressively. To achieve this, we establish new networks, facilitate knowledge transfer, develop suitable ideas, offer a platform for exchange, and share our recommendations.

We are convinced that we can do all of this much better if we work together with people who appreciate each other, trust each other, and get along well.

You can expect a friendly and motivated team of around 35 employees, as well as additional heads from our honorary committees. Our inviting office spaces are located in Moabit near the Berlin Hauptbahnhof, although we work and operate throughout Europe and beyond.

We are always looking for

We are always looking for people who bring the following:

• Master's (or in exceptional cases Bachelor's) degree in social sciences or related fields, as well as experience with the Berlin political scene;
• A high affinity to the Progressive Center's key themes and deeper knowledge of at least 2 policy fields relevant to the Progressive Center;
• Outstanding analytical-strategic and editorial skills (excellent German and English language skills are essential, a journalistic background is an asset);
• Communication strength and joy in political processes.
