This task will motivate you: In this role, you will design technical IT solutions in the network environment and ensure the continuous development of the installed systems
Hierbei, you will plan, implement, and administer network components such as switches, routers, access points, and firewalls and ensure the smooth operation of LAN-, WAN-, VPN-, and WLAN-structures from installation to maintenance
In addition, you will actively monitor system and network performance using monitoring tools, analyze errors, and lead measures for error correction and performance optimization
You will also document processes, configurations, or architecture plans and create technical documentation and process descriptions
Together with the IT Security Team, you will ensure the consistent implementation of security guidelines, revision requirements, and data protection requirements
Good prerequisites for your success: A completed degree in computer science or a comparable IT training
Professional experience in network administration
Good knowledge in the area of switching, routing, VLAN/WLAN/VPN
First experience with products from manufacturers CISCO, Fortinet, CheckPoint
Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
