Hourly Rate: $58/h

Per Diem: $80 per working day

Description and Responsibilities:

Services SFT is an agency specializing in the placement of healthcare professionals.

We are currently looking for an experienced respiratory therapist to work in remote areas,

As a respiratory therapist in remote areas, your responsibilities will be:

- Perform complete respiratory assessments of patients

- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders

- Administer inhaled treatments and prescribed medications

- Monitor the respiratory status of patients and adjust treatments accordingly

- Participate in the education of patients and their families on respiratory care

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

- Diploma in Respiratory Therapy

- Previous experience in respiratory therapy (minimum 2 years)

- Be a member of the Ordre des inhalothérapeutes du Québec

- Hospital experience

- NRP training

- Experience in home support, home oxygen therapy.

- CPR and NRP up to date

- Good ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills

- Flexibility to work in remote areas

- Knowledge of the French language (advanced level).
