Foundry Engineer

We are looking for a colleague for the role of Foundry Engineer, who will contribute to the coordination and optimization of production processes within the foundry department.

Ideal candidate

· Graduate of the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering or other higher technical studies;

· Minimum 3 years of experience in a production unit in the machine building sector, preferably within a foundry, with activity carried out in the operational/production area, including activity organization, task prioritization, and collaboration with subordinate teams and other departments.

· Very good Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel;

· Knowledge of using CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.);

· English language knowledge – intermediate/advanced level;

· 5S and Lean Manufacturing knowledge;

· Spirit of initiative, responsibility, and involvement;

· Communicative person, attentive to details, and eager to develop professionally.

Advantageous

· Previous experience in a foundry.

Main responsibilities

· Coordinates and monitors the production process in the department;

· Verifies and updates existing technologies;

· Carries out planning and monitors compliance with the production plan;

· Manages material and technical resources effectively;

· Monitors the technological flow and production continuity;

· Verifies and controls the stages of the casting realization process;

· Carries out periodic inspections and audits in the area of responsibility;

· Prepares technological documentation: operation plans, technological instructions, consumption norms;

· Analyzes quality indicators and implements improvement measures;

· Ensures that parts meet the established quality requirements;

· Technically analyzes complaints regarding cast parts;

· Participates in the implementation of new technologies and technical solutions.
