Junior Technology Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develops maintenance and repair plans for processing stations under their responsibility and submits them to the Operations Manager for approval;
• Ensures the implementation and compliance with agreed-upon maintenance and repair plans with the Operations Manager;
• Familiarizes themselves with the technical characteristics of waste processing installations (incinerators, sterilizers) and develops methods for optimizing these processes, which they submit to the Operations Manager for approval;
• Ensures the functioning of equipment in established parameters (according to current legislation and company internal norms); proposes and implements solutions for optimizing equipment function, when necessary;
• Anticipates or detects defects or the need for improvement of installations, reports them, and makes recommendations to the Operations Manager and Station Processing Manager; together with these individuals, they establish resource allocation, whether repair/intervention can be performed by Sterileco employees or an external provider is needed;
• Supervises and participates directly in equipment repairs for sterilization and incineration;
• Instructs operators on technical aspects of equipment function and ensures they perform tasks correctly;
• Maintains and reports to the Operations Manager activity and efficiency levels of external service providers;
• Identifies and selects external service providers for specific activities and proposes them to the Operations Manager for approval;
• Provides support to other Technical Specialists at Sterileco's points of work in the country.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering);
• Knowledge of legislation related to waste processing - an advantage;
• Techincal experience related to optimal equipment function in the chemical/metalurgical industry;
• Familiarity with types of installations/equipment and their characteristics;
• Structured thinking and orientation towards solutions;
• Practical spirit with continuous orientation towards efficiency.
