Medical Equipment Service Engineer / Technician

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Service team. The new colleague will ensure the installation, technical maintenance, and service of medical equipment.

Their role is to ensure the technical maintenance and service of the equipment sold by the company.

• Propose technical solutions to beneficiaries regarding the installation of equipment or sold assemblies;
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair medical equipment within the company's portfolio, according to contractual warranty periods, in the shortest possible time, with high quality standards, without affecting the beneficiaries' activity, with minimal costs and efficiency;
• Comply with the provisions of service manuals regarding product verification and their repair technology;
• Install equipment and perform functional tests, ensuring user training on best practices for use, strictly adhering to safety regulations;
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment, strictly adhering to the provisions of service manuals and internal procedures regarding equipment verification, before and after predictive interventions or interventions requested by the beneficiary;
• Install medical equipment and perform its functional tests, and ensure user training for its proper handling and operation;
• Perform periodic inspections according to the manufacturer's technical specifications;
• Prepare and complete intervention reports periodically, specific registers of all documents related to the activity, in accordance with company policy and service documentation provided by manufacturers;
• Maintain and cultivate long-term professional relationships based on respect, quality guarantees for interventions, efficiency, and adherence to commitments;
• Communicate and inform superiors and responsible medical representatives for that client about the most effective solutions for optimizing activity;
• Constantly consult the service documentation provided by manufacturers and the company and ensure its proper implementation.
• Administer specific technical documents;
• Participate in continuous training provided within the department and at the manufacturer.

Requirements:

• Graduate of higher education in fields such as: automation, electronics, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, etc.
• Solid technical knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering, with knowledge in the field of medical equipment and apparatus being a significant advantage;
• PC operation knowledge (MS Office)
• English language, intermediate level;
• Practical experience in servicing medical equipment (installation, diagnosis, repair of medical equipment and apparatus) is a significant advantage;
• Availability for travel within the country; driving license, category B;
