Electromechanical Engineer / Technician – Field Service

Our company is expanding its team in Romania and is looking for an Electromechanical Technician – Field Service / Installation to ensure the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service interventions for industrial equipment.

It is a technical, practical, and dynamic role that involves travel to client sites in Romania and abroad.

We are looking for a person with experience in electromechanics and service for industrial equipment, capable of identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems, and working autonomously in the field.

• Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment and systems;
• Carrying out mechanical and electromechanical assembly work;
• Installation and connection of electrical cables and components;
• Installation of piping systems and auxiliary components;
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings;
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation faults;
• Identifying problems with sensors, motors, drives, inverters, electrical panels, and control circuits;
• Using measurement and diagnostic equipment to identify the causes of faults;
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities;
• Checking the technical condition of equipment and identifying potential problems in a timely manner;
• Providing technical support to clients and offering recommendations on equipment usage and maintenance;
• Identifying worn components and recommending necessary spare parts;
• Identifying service and spare parts opportunities and forwarding them to the sales team;
• Preparing service reports and documenting interventions performed;
• Complying with safety regulations and quality standards;
• Collaborating with technical, sales, and project teams;
• Frequent travel within Romania and abroad for installation, commissioning, and service.

• Technical studies in electromechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or a similar field;
• Relevant experience in service, maintenance, or installation of industrial equipment;
• Solid knowledge of electrical engineering and mechanics;
• Experience in diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults;
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings;
• Experience working with electric motors, sensors, inverters/drives, and electrical panels;
• Basic knowledge or experience in industrial automation and PLCs is an advantage;
• Ability to use measuring instruments and diagnostic tools;
• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance;
• English language – good level, sufficient for technical communication and customer interaction;
• Driver's license category B;
• Availability for frequent travel, including international.

• Net salary: 8,000 – 12,000 RON/month, depending on experience and skills;
