Job description
Job Description: Test Support Engineer
In this role, you will ensure the proper functioning of testing equipment on production lines, diagnose and fix testing errors, and collaborate directly with development and quality teams to maintain performance standards.
- Responsibilities:
- Taking over testing systems from clients and internally developed ones
- Validating test systems
- Maintaining testing equipment in good condition
- Communicating for problem resolution with the client or support departments
- Resolving encountered issues and generating reports for task completion
- Improving test systems
- Performing entries in IT systems
- Providing support for production test stations (functional testing, ICT, EOL, etc.). Identifying, analyzing, and quickly resolving technical malfunctions (hardware and software) in testing equipment to reduce downtime.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of testing programs and parameters to increase efficiency (Cycle Time) and yield (Yield).
- Writing and updating work instructions, testing procedures, and maintenance reports.
- Training technicians regarding testing systems
- Collaborating with test technicians to resolve issues encountered with testing systems.
- Requirements:
- Graduate of technical studies (Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar).
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in a production environment (experience in the automotive or electronics industry is a major advantage).
- Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Knowledge of electronic components and their operating principles in electronic assemblies.
- Familiarity with measurement and control equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generators).
- Experience working with electronic circuits.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Technical communication skills for clarifying problems.
- Dynamic, organized individual.
