IT Systems Engineer, Information Technology Services Department, Cluj

The Company for Telecommunications and Information Technology Services in Transport Networks "TELETRANS" S.A. is announcing the competition for 1 (one) IT Systems Engineer position, Information Technology Services Department, Cluj Agency, for an unlimited period, with an 8-hour/day working program.

The requirements for this position are:

• specialized higher education (technical/university in computers, automation, informatics)
• knowledge of installation, configuration, administration, and operation of Microsoft products (Windows 11, Windows Server, Office suite - Word, Excel, etc.);
• networking knowledge;
• IT security knowledge;
• knowledge of troubleshooting computers and office equipment;
• knowledge of the English language;
• analytical nature;
• ability to assess situations and capacity for action;
• teamwork ability, flexibility;
• sense of order and discipline, correctness
• verbal and written communication skills;
• category B driver's license.

The main responsibilities associated with the position are:
· Software technical assistance for clients and for Teletrans's own departments
- Support for the operating system and other software products (installations, configurations and reconfigurations, settings, access rights changes, new product testing, virus removal, etc.)
- Updating installed products with the latest versions and related documentation (software upgrades);
- Data restoration in case of failure or upon request;
· Preventive and corrective maintenance for hardware (maintenance, repair, and upgrade of equipment to bring and maintain it at nominal hardware and software parameters or to improve them) and for office equipment (printers, copiers, fax machines);
· Reception and commissioning of new computer equipment;
· Participation in the implementation and maintenance of LAN and WAN computer networks
· Ensuring information protection and network security (back-up, antivirus, firewall, etc.)
· Installation of consumables for office equipment;
· User support through Help Desk activities;
· Travel within the Agency's area of responsibility;
· Participation in work in collaboration with the other departments of the Agency, whenever necessary.

TELETRANS, as a national communications operator, addresses telecommunications operators, large companies, as well as Internet Service Providers (ISPs) with a wide range of communication services at a high quality level, implemented on an infrastructure based on fiber optics and next-generation professional IP/MPLS equipment.

TELETRANS has a national backbone coverage of approximately 5000 km; over 100 transmission nodes and fiber optic network access; points of presence in 14 cities and access facilities in another 22; cross-border links with Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, and Moldova, a multi-level, fully redundant network, with 9 adjacent rings and next-generation professional IP/MPLS equipment.
