Structural Design Engineer

• Graduate of the Technical University of Civil Engineering / Faculty of Civil Engineering, specialization Civil, Industrial, and Agricultural Constructions;
• Structural Design Engineer – professional experience is an advantage;
• Bachelor's degree, full-time studies – 4 years; Master's studies are an advantage;
• Knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD and Robot Structural Analysis software;
• Knowledge of using the MS Office package – Word, Excel, Outlook;
• Knowledge in the field of design, analytical thinking, synthesis capacity, and attention to detail;
• Knowledge of technical norms and current specific legislation, both at RO and EU level, is an advantage;
• Ability to work with computer-aided design tools, spatial reasoning, and technical acumen;
• Availability and ability to work in interdisciplinary specialist teams;
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills;
• Ability to work both in a team and individually;
• Knowledge of the English language at an intermediate/advanced level, including technical terminology, is an advantage;
• Proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented person.

You will have the opportunity to work on civil, industrial, and agricultural construction projects, contributing to the design of:

• reinforced concrete structures;
• prestressed concrete structures;
• steel structures;
• composite structures.

Professional experience in the field is an advantage.

• Developing the design brief according to client requests, under the guidance of the project manager and experienced company personnel;
• Determining the constructive solution, under the guidance of the project manager and experienced company personnel;
• Evaluating calculation hypotheses and load combinations, taking into account current standards and norms and the technical specifications in the design brief;
• Defining the calculation model for performing static and dynamic calculations;
• Performing static and dynamic calculations, as well as dimensioning and verifying structural elements;
• Developing written and drawing documents for different design phases;
• Developing, during the execution phase, design notes and site instructions, at the request of the client or general contractor;
• Monitoring changes occurring during the construction works;
• Participating, during the design phase, in design and project coordination meetings, at the request of the client or general contractor;
• Participating, during the construction works phase, in command meetings, at the request of the client or general contractor;
• Verifying the quality of works during the execution phase, according to the phase schedule or at the request of the client or general contractor.
