Process Design Engineer

We are looking for a Process Design Engineer in the field of metal fabrication, responsible for the design of parts, defining manufacturing processes and optimizing production flows. ︃︀︋︍︈︊︃︎︂︆︄︅︁︁︎︌︈︂︇︍︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎

Requirements:

• Studies: higher technical (mechanical, industrial or similar profile);
• Experience: experience in a similar role is an advantage;
• Technical knowledge: reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols; manufacturing methods for metal fabrications;
• Use of CAD programs: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge (preferably the Sheet Metal module);
• Linguistic skills: English - intermediate level; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Defining production processes and material flows;
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities;
• Creating execution drawings for parts and assemblies;
• Creating programs for laser cutting/bending machine;
• Performing time studies;
• Managing and updating databases in the ERP system;
• Defining and updating the manufacturing structures of the components;
• Advising production staff on technical and quality aspects.
