Mechanical Design Engineer

Currently, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer team-oriented and proactive, for the team in Bucharest, within the company Rominserv.

Your new role: Performing specific design activities in the field of technological equipment (static), pressure vessels, respectively atmospheric, specific to the Oil and Gas industry, in order to realize projects for industrial objectives.

The activities that will help you shine:

•    Preparing technical design documentation at various stages (study, basic engineering, detail engineering) and coordinating the activity of preparing design documentation by subcontractors for the realization and implementation of projects;
•    Providing specialized technical assistance in the realization of designed industrial objectives to ensure quality standards;
•    Developing execution details for equipment projects (including repairs) for execution (at vendor or on site);
•    Preparing technical design documentation with mechanical specifics for the objectives designated as service tasks;
•    Performing technical analyzes, case studies, proposing technical solutions for the realization of investment projects;
•    Participating in the verification/approval of technical documentation to be in accordance with the established requirements, regulations, standards and existing norms;
•    Elaboration / Analysis (as appropriate) under specific aspects, of the content and specifications of the design topics / documentation (including those elaborated by subcontractors);
•    Ensuring the conformity of own works and collaborators.

• Higher technical studies
•    Minimum 12 years of experience in design activities (mechanical profile) for equipment, pressure vessels (ISCIR, PED), installations in the chemical and petrochemical industry and at least 8 years in a similar position;
•    AutoCAD knowledge (2D/3D);
•    Knowledge of the principles and techniques of designing static equipment (Oil & Gas);
•    In-depth knowledge of ISCIR-design technical prescriptions for pressure equipment and vessels, ASME I, ASME II, ASME VIII, SR EN 13445, SR EN 13480 codes etc.
•    PC operation (M/S Word, Excel, Outlook);
•    English (including specialized terms) – advanced level.
