Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

IMSAT is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of high-performance technical solutions and to technically coordinate large-scale industrial projects.

What are the responsibilities of the position?

🔹Develops technical solutions for complex industrial projects;

🔹Creates 3D models and related execution documentation for projects;

🔹Performs calculations and verifications for mechanical components, including FEA analyses;

🔹Technically coordinates assigned projects;

🔹Collaborates with process, structures, electrical installations, and automation teams to integrate technical solutions;

🔹Participates in technical meetings with clients and suppliers;

🔹Reviews technical documentation developed by other designers;

🔹Participates in site visits and technical surveys;

🔹Identifies optimization opportunities regarding quantities, fabrication, and assembly;

What do we expect from you?

🔹Higher technical education in the mechanical field;

🔹Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical design;

🔹Experience in industrial projects (cement, mining, metallurgy, or heavy industry is a significant advantage);

🔹Solid knowledge of technical drawing and mechanical design;

🔹Knowledge of strength of materials and finite element analysis (FEA);

🔹Knowledge of EN and ISO standards;

🔹Experience in material selection and design oriented towards fabrication and assembly;

🔹Experience in using 3D design software (Autodesk Inventor is an advantage);

🔹Knowledge of sheet metal design;

🔹English language – advanced level.

An advantage constitutes:

🔹Experience in the cement industry;

🔹Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects;

🔹Knowledge of bulk material handling;

🔹Experience in industrial piping design;

🔹Knowledge of using a PDM system;

🔹Experience in developing mechanical audits.
