Job description

We are expanding our team and looking to hire a Senior Installation Designer, with solid experience, who will play a key role in defining, coordinating, and validating installation solutions for complex projects. The role requires professional autonomy, technical decision-making competence, and permanent collaboration with the architecture team and other departments.


Requirements:

  • Relevant experience of at least 7 years in designing installations for construction (HVAC, sanitary, electrical/weak currents – as applicable);
  • Degree holder from the Faculty of Installation Engineering - Technical University of Construction;
  • Solid knowledge of Romanian technical legislation and norms in the field of installations;
  • Experience in verifying technical documentation, calculation notes, and design solutions;
  • Experience in collaborating with site teams and verifying installation work execution;
  • Capacity to take technically justified and assumed decisions, with a direct impact on the project;
  • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills;
  • Rigorousness, attention to detail, and orientation towards quality work;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respect deadlines;
  • Experience in coordinating or supervising other designers is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Plays a key role in defining and clarifying the project scope for installations, in collaboration with the architecture team and general designer;
  • Coordinates and validates technical installation solutions throughout all stages of design;
  • Realizes and/or verifies installation dimensions, calculation notes, and technical documentation;
  • Ensures internal technical control of installation documents, following norms, standards of quality, and project requirements;
  • Identifies, documents, and signals non-conformities, design errors or inconsistencies between specialties and requests revisions;
  • Provides technical support during the bidding and execution phases;
  • Analyzes and advises on proposed alternative solutions, evaluating their impact on quality, conformity, and the initial concept;
  • Contributes actively to developing and improving internal quality standards in the installation domain.
