ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS DESIGN ENGINEER

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Completed higher education in the relevant field;
Minimum 1 year of experience in design
AutoCAD knowledge
Office package knowledge;
Knowledge of current design codes and standards;

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Establishes solutions for electrical installations for educational buildings, industrial buildings, office buildings, residential and commercial buildings, etc.

- Prepares installation designs in accordance with current legislation, codes, and regulations, in all design phases (concept, feasibility study, detailed design, building permit design, technical design, execution design and As-Built) for both written and drawn parts;

- Prepares material and equipment lists / technical data sheets / specifications;

- Verifies the practical implementation of solutions with the coordinator;

- Travels to the construction site to verify compliance with designs, if necessary (quite rarely)

- Provides technical assistance on site for the realization of the designed installation in accordance with the technical design, prepares site instructions, finds technical solutions adapted to the site situation;

- Carries out surveys of existing installations and redesigns existing installations so that they comply with current codes and regulations

- Prepares instructions for use and maintenance of the installations/equipment they design or redesign;

- Maintains contact with certified design reviewers;

- Manages various projects and monitors project progress;

- Is familiar with equipment and equipment suppliers;

- Has experience in coordination and teamwork with other specialties - HVAC, BMS, plumbing, etc.

- Keeps track of changes during the design process as well as the written and drawn parts delivered to the client

- Collaborates with reviewers and suppliers of equipment and materials

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- to comply with all internal procedures;

- to inform superiors about the lack of information or the untimely completion of assigned tasks;

- to print, copy, scan, documents and plans;

- to draft technical memorandums, specifications and quantity lists;

- to draft documents at the request of the design department coordinator;

- to complete applications, authorizations, dossiers for submission to state authorities.

- to use working time exclusively for the performance of service tasks, and in this regard, not to engage during working hours in activities not included in their duties and responsibilities or not ordered by hierarchical superiors
