Electrical, Mechanical Installations Design Engineer

Tema Energy is expanding its design team and is looking for an Electrical & HVAC Installations Designer, to participate in the development of technical solutions for Data Center, critical infrastructure, and industrial applications projects.

The role involves the design and integration of electrical and/or HVAC installations, with a focus on developing reliable, efficient technical solutions tailored to the specific requirements of critical infrastructures.

• Graduate of the Polytechnic University, University of Civil Engineering - Faculty of Installations Engineering, or a relevant technical faculty;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the design of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and/or industrial installations;
• Experience in industrial projects, technical buildings, critical infrastructures, or other complex technical projects;
• Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
• • power supply systems, electrical distribution, and power back-up solutions: UPS, generators, batteries;
  • HVAC systems: air conditioning, ventilation, cooling, and heat distribution;
• Knowledge of electrical and/or HVAC infrastructure specific to critical systems; experience in Data Center projects is a significant advantage;
• Knowledge of installation sizing, equipment selection, and performing specific technical calculations;
• Knowledge of equipment such as UPS units, generators, batteries, electrical panels, and/or chillers, heat pumps, air handling units, pumps, heat exchangers, and hydraulic networks;
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards in the field of specialization;
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2D; experience with Revit and/or Eplan is an advantage;
• ANRE IIA and IIB authorization is an advantage for the electrical specialization;
• Good knowledge of the English language;
• Good technical analysis capability, solution-oriented approach, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

• Design of electrical and/or HVAC installations for Data Center, critical infrastructure, and industrial application projects;
• Development of power supply, electrical distribution, and power back-up solutions, and/or air conditioning, ventilation, and cooling solutions, depending on the technical specialization;
• Sizing of installations and equipment and performing necessary technical calculations;
• Creation of plans, schematics, and technical design documentation for the specific phases of assigned projects;
• Analysis of project technical requirements and identification of optimal solutions in terms of performance, energy efficiency, redundancy, and reliability;
• Selection and sizing of equipment based on project technical and operational requirements;
• Participation in the development and integration of technical solutions within multidisciplinary projects;
• Collaboration with electrical design, HVAC/mechanical, automation/BMS, project management, and execution teams for correct system integration;
• Participation in the preparation of technical and economic offers;
• Collaboration with manufacturers and suppliers to identify and select suitable equipment;
• Technical validation of equipment and materials proposed for assigned projects;
• Participation in site visits and technical meetings with clients, when projects require it;
• Providing technical support to project management and execution teams during project implementation.

There is the possibility to work 1 day per week from home.
