Structural Design Engineer

IMSAT is recruiting a Structural Design Engineer for its Bucharest headquarters, passionate about excellence and eager to contribute to large-scale projects in the field of industrial construction and metal structures. What are the job responsibilities?

🔹 Analyze and define the project scope to provide the best technical solutions;

🔹 Perform and verify static/dynamic calculations for complex works;

🔹 Coordinate and verify assembly drawings for concrete and metal structures;

🔹 Elaborate and validate execution drawings and details for metal and concrete structures;

🔹 Prepare and verify specifications for execution;

🔹 Draft technical memorandums and quality and long-term performance monitoring programs;

🔹 Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and design standards;

🔹 Contribute to knowledge transfer within the team.

What do we expect from you?

🔹 Higher education from the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Constructions;

🔹 Minimum 10 years of experience in designing metal structures and industrial constructions;

🔹 Advanced knowledge of structural calculation with Finite Element Method FEM (Robot Structural Analysis – advantage);

🔹 Experience in 3D structural detailing (Tekla Structures);

🔹 Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD 2D, 3D, Inventor – advantage);

🔹 Solid skills in operating MS Office, Outlook, MS Project;

🔹 Knowledge of design codes (National Codes, Eurocode);

🔹 English language – advanced level (French language is an advantage);

🔹 Analytical, synthesis, and decision-making skills;

🔹 Organized, serious, and deadline-oriented individual.
