Design Engineer (Technical Assistance / Construction Site)

Project: Sighisoara Bypass Route

We are looking for a colleague eager to make their mark on large infrastructure projects! If you are a technical, organized person who perfectly understands the language of blueprints and wants to see projects come to life on site, we are waiting for you in our team.

Your role will be essential: you will be the direct link between the technical project and the execution team, ensuring that everything is built correctly, quickly, and to the assumed standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Full mastery of the project: You will analyze the technical documentation in detail to know every construction detail and the specifics of the work.
• Technical support for execution: You will assist the construction site team with clarifications, detail drawings, profiles, technical specifications, and any information necessary for the proper conduct of the works.
• Management of Site Orders (DS): You will identify the need for project modifications, you will draft and work on the elaboration of site orders in accordance with current regulations.
• Early identification of problems: You will proactively analyze the project to detect possible discrepancies, collisions with utility networks, or design errors, and you will propose viable technical solutions before they affect the pace of the works.

Our requirements:

• Higher education: Graduate of Civil Engineering (specialization in Railways, Roads, and Bridges – CFDP is a major advantage).
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in road design or technical assistance in road infrastructure projects.
• Technical skills: Solid knowledge of AutoCAD and/or specialized software (AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus).
• Knowledge of legislation: Familiar with current technical standards and the process of issuing Site Orders.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication skills, developed observation skills, problem-solving orientation, and the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines.
