Technical Offer Engineer

NORDTEC Romania, a Romanian manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment, is expanding its team and is looking for a Technical Offer Engineer.

We are looking for a technical, organized, and detail-oriented person to analyze customer requirements and documentation and contribute to the development of technical solutions and offers for NORDTEC projects.

• Analyzing plans, documentation, and requirements submitted by the client;
• Identifying and selecting the appropriate equipment and technical configuration for each project;
• Calculating refrigeration needs and determining the technical solution;
• Calculating the need for installations, materials, components, and labor;
• Requesting prices from the Purchasing department for special components and materials needed for the project;
• Analyzing prices and information received from suppliers;
• Preparing the estimate and calculating the complete technical cost of the project;
• Preparing and completing the technical data necessary for the preparation of the offer;
• Verifying the accuracy of technical data and calculations;
• Transmitting the necessary information and data to the operator who prepares the offer;
• Collaborating with the Design, Purchasing, and Sales departments for offer preparation;
• Identifying, when necessary, alternative technical solutions based on customer requirements and budget.

• Higher technical education
• Experience in a technical offer, design, refrigeration installation, or similar technical role is an advantage;
• Good ability to analyze technical plans and documentation;
• Technical knowledge and ability to understand equipment and installations;
• Good calculation and analysis skills;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
• Attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers and technical data;
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize activities;
• Seriousness, responsibility, and results orientation;
• Ability to work both individually and in a team;
• Good communication and collaboration skills with other departments.
