Bidding Engineer – Private Tenders

RAP Development is expanding its team and is looking for a Bidding Engineer – Private Tenders, with experience in the industrial construction sector. We are looking for a person with good technical and analytical skills, attention to detail, capable of analyzing project documentation and preparing competitive technical-financial offers.

Main Responsibilities:

- Analyzing the technical and commercial requirements from requests for proposals;

- Verifying and analyzing the technical documentation received and identifying the specific requirements of each project;

- Correctly interpreting specifications, projects, and technical specifications;

- Identifying discrepancies and any omissions in the project documentation;

- Calculating and verifying quantity lists in Excel;

- Preparing financial offers for civil and industrial construction projects;

- Calculating and preparing price offers in accordance with technical specifications and client requirements;

- Requesting, centralizing, and analyzing offers from suppliers and subcontractors;

- Optimizing costs by identifying and selecting the most efficient technical and economic solutions;

- Adjusting technical and commercial solutions following negotiations and clarifications with beneficiaries and involved partners.

Requirements:

- Completed higher education in the field of construction or engineering;

- Previous experience in bidding for civil and/or industrial construction projects;

- Experience in analyzing technical documentation and identifying project requirements;

- Ability to correctly interpret plans, specifications, quantity lists, and technical specifications;

- Good analytical and calculation skills;

- High attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in project documentation;

- Organizational skills and efficient management of bidding deadlines;

- Communication and collaboration skills with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
